About Fernando

Hola, my name is Fernando and I am a native Spanish speaker and have a C2 qualification in Spanish (highest qualification given by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I am currently studying at University.

I received an A* in both my Spanish A-level and GCSE and have had experience teaching both A-level and GCSE, first helping out in my mum's lessons (Spanish teacher) and then teaching my own classes for the past year.

I have had several occasions where I have translated for people. One example was this summer where I went to Ecuador and had to translate for an expedition group. The Expedition leader said, “In addition to taking on a leadership role Fernando used his Spanish skills to act as an interpreter on behalf of the team on numerous occasions”

About the lesson

I am open and friendly and love to teach anyone no matter their ability. I am considerate and patient. I am happy to follow any structure but I usually like to start with conversations to see what level you are on and got from there.
