About Laura

Qualified and experienced teacher of Spanish, with 7 years of experience teaching my mother language for different purposes: travel and holidays, exams, or just conversation sessions and experienced working with kids including EYFS and Key Stages 1. I am teaching face to face and online I teach all levels of Spanish: from A1 (Elementary) to C2 (Bilingual). I have proven experience with DELE, GCSE and A-Level Spanish exam preparation.

About the lesson

My teaching style is active and dynamic. I like to know the student as much as possible to customise the lessons and motivate him/her as much as possible. I think firmly that a motivated student is a really happy student. And this is the only way of effective learning. No matter if you need to pass an exam, improve your pronunciation, add more vocabulary, practise conversation I can support you. My sessions are focused on practising and practising, that is the key. But you will practise useful language, the skills that you really need. My classes are based on students' needs and interests and from this view I customise and adapt the lesson. We are all different and learn in different ways. Each introductory class, I try to know the student as deeply as possible, hobbies, job, about the level, strengths and weaknesses of the students and based on that I plan the sessions in a dynamic and motivational way with creative activities to make an active teaching-learning process. I can help students to develop speaking, listening, reading, writing and to improve grammar and vocabulary. I can also design and personalise your class depending on your purposes. If besides language you are interested in the Spanish Culture, I love it. I know the gastronomy deeply and I could recommend you recipes, places... I can support you if you are going to travel or work in Spain. Even if you are going to live temporarily or permanently in Spain. If you need help to sort out bureaucracy, fill documents or know how work different issues in Spain.
