About Ming

Hello, I’m Ming. I was born and raised in China, and Mandarin is my native language.

In 1999, I obtained the National Proficiency Test of Putonghua – Level 1B, the highest standard for professional Chinese language educators. This certification ensures my pronunciation is clear, accurate, and serves as a reliable model for learners.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience, working with students from different cultural backgrounds. Before focusing on language teaching, I spent many years as a music educator and international programme coordinator, leading groups to Europe and the United States. I have travelled extensively across Europe (Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, etc.) and have a deep understanding of Western culture. This cross-cultural experience helps me explain Chinese language and customs in a way that truly resonates with international learners.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you are a complete beginner or preparing for advanced exams, I will design a learning plan that works for you.
