About Nellie
I am currently working at a university's Career Centre. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business. However, education is my passion. I have a few years of experience in mentoring and tutoring and am pursuing a career in experiential learning. Being someone who has extensive experience of working and living through cultural differences, I love sharing my understanding of different cultures.

I like to have a well-planned agenda for each of my classes. However, adjusting the plans according to individual's pace and process comes first before that. Thus, at the very beginning of my class, I will go through the things we will cover with my students. A typical class will include: a revision of the important points from previous classes; a review of homework; new content (fully depend on what the students want to learn about"; and a wrap-up of the session by giving homework, etc.
I focus on delivering practical language skills and knowledge that is going to help the students to communicate with people of their age as soon as possible. The things they learn will mostly be trendy, funny but also standard. I will share a lot of "fun facts" and my views about Chinese culture and, possibly, social issues with an open mind with the students.
