About Echo

I grew up in China and attended both local and international schools before studying in the U.S. for five years and working in Hong Kong. Now a veterinary student in New Zealand, I’ve developed strong study habits and time management skills, which I bring into my teaching. My goal is to help students learn effectively and efficiently — making each lesson productive, focused, and tailored to their individual goals.

About the lesson

I focus on tailoring lessons to different levels and individual needs — whether you're aiming to improve speaking, reading, or both. Before we begin, I always communicate with each student (or parent) to understand their goals and learning preferences.

Having studied in both New Zealand and the United States for over eight years, I’m familiar with different cultures and educational systems. This helps me connect with students from diverse backgrounds and adapt to their learning styles. I’m fluent in English and understand how to bridge cultural and language gaps effectively.

I have experience teaching with both the HSK curriculum and standard Mandarin textbooks used in local Chinese schools. Whether you're preparing for exams or simply want to communicate better in daily life, I can design lessons that suit your pace and goals.
