About Martina
Hi! My name is Martina, and I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China. I’m currently a university student studying overseas, and I’m passionate about language and cultural exchange.
I enjoy helping people learn Chinese in a relaxed and supportive environment. As someone who is also learning and using English every day, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, so I always try to make my lessons clear, practical, and encouraging.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing basketball, watching movies, and meeting people from different cultures. I look forward to helping you start or improve your Mandarin journey!

My lessons are designed to be practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on helping students build confidence in speaking Mandarin while also improving pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday communication skills.
For beginners, we will start with basic pronunciation (pinyin), simple conversations, and useful daily expressions. For intermediate learners, lessons can focus more on conversation practice, listening skills, and expanding vocabulary.
I also adapt lessons depending on your needs – whether you want to learn Chinese for travel, school, work, or personal interest. My goal is to make learning Mandarin enjoyable, interactive, and effective.
