About Shuangqi

Hello! I am a student from Beijing, China, and Mandarin Chinese is my native language. I have a strong academic background in Chinese and have consistently achieved good results in Chinese language exams throughout middle and high school. I also served as a Chinese class representative, which helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility.

I am patient, friendly and organised, and I understand that every student learns at a different pace. I would love to share my language and culture with others and help students feel more confident using Chinese. I take preparation seriously and aim to make every lesson supportive, enjoyable and useful. I look forward to helping you or your child discover the beauty of Mandarin Chinese!

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, patient and adapted to each student's age and level. As a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing, I can help children and beginners learn standard Mandarin pronunciation, pinyin, everyday vocabulary and simple conversations. I can also support students with Chinese reading, writing and schoolwork.

I like to make learning interesting through conversations, examples, repetition and practical exercises. For younger children, I can use simple words, pictures and everyday situations to help them learn naturally. For school students, I can focus more on vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing and exam preparation, depending on their needs.

A typical lesson lasts 45–60 minutes, with time for reviewing previous material, learning new content and practising together. My Chinese language results were strong throughout middle and high school, and I served as a Chinese class representative. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in Chinese.
