About Sabrina

I am a native Mandarin Chinese and Italian speaker with several years of experience as a tutor, helping students of different ages and levels improve their language skills.

Growing up in a bilingual environment and completing my education in Italy has given me a deep understanding of both Chinese and Italian languages and cultures. This allows me to explain Mandarin clearly from the perspective of someone who understands the difficulties that learners may encounter.

I am a patient, organised and dedicated teacher. I carefully prepare each lesson with personalised materials, including presentations and exercises, to ensure that every student receives a structured and effective learning experience.

Whether you are starting from zero, looking to improve your conversation skills, or aiming to develop a deeper understanding of Mandarin, I will support you with a professional and encouraging approach.

My goal is to help every student gain confidence, make steady progress and enjoy the process of learning Chinese.

About the lesson

I believe that learning Mandarin should be practical, enjoyable and adapted to each student's goals. As a native Mandarin and Italian speaker with several years of tutoring experience, I understand the challenges students face when learning a new language, and I create lessons that are clear, structured and encouraging.

My teaching approach is personalised: I adapt each lesson according to the student's level, interests and objectives. Before each class, I prepare tailored learning materials, including PowerPoint presentations and PDF exercises, designed specifically to support the student's progress and help them review what they have learnt.

My lessons can include:

* Conversation practice to develop confidence in speaking
* Pronunciation and tone correction
* Grammar explanations with practical examples
* Reading and writing Chinese characters
* Vocabulary building for daily life, travel, study or work
* Exercises and review activities to reinforce new knowledge
* Cultural insights to better understand Chinese language and customs

For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in pronunciation, tones, basic vocabulary and everyday communication. For intermediate and advanced students, I help improve fluency, grammar accuracy, reading skills and natural expression.

A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, but the structure can be adjusted depending on the student's needs and learning goals.

I have experience teaching students of different ages and levels, including school students and adults. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for exams, improving your communication skills, or learning Mandarin out of personal interest, I will help you progress step by step in a supportive learning environment.

Lessons are available in English, Italian or Mandarin Chinese, allowing explanations to be adapted to each student's preferred language.
