About Lei
I have received a rigorous and professional education in Chinese literature. I also ranked top in the language subject of the college entrance exam and entered Tsinghua University (ranking Top 2 in China) with excellent overall scores. I have extensive experience in tutoring non-native Chinese speakers. I have been studying at Case Western Reserve University for two and a half years, and I am familiar with both American and Chinese culture. I am friendly to the LGBTQ+ community and welcome students of all backgrounds and different Chinese language backgrounds to choose my program.

My lessons will eventually establish the best self-learning mode of Chinese for each individual.
For those who wish to conduct daily conversations in Chinese, I will design rich real-life scenarios to help improve daily Chinese oral communication skills in the process of one-on-one scenario simulation.
For those who have already mastered certain listening and speaking skills and wish to improve their Chinese reading and writing skills, I will summarize the laws of Chinese character sounds, shapes and meanings to help quickly form associative memories, as well as help beginners in Chinese reading and writing with practical learning tools and introductory books.
For those who need to take the exam and wish to further their studies in a more professional manner, I will explain Chinese grammar and etymology from a professional point of view, helping to correct the usage of polysyllabic words, identify near-synonyms and improve grammatical logic and fluency, as well as correcting pronunciation details.
