About Joe

안녕하세요! Hello! My name is Joe, and I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. These days, I’m based in Canada, where I’ve been enjoying new experiences and meeting people from all over the world. I studied Arabic at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and worked for over 10 years in global trade, including a few years abroad as an expat in Thailand. Along the way, I’ve traveled to more than 40 countries, which gave me a love for exploring different cultures and an open, flexible mindset. Languages have always been a big part of my life — I’ve studied English, Arabic, and Chinese — so I truly understand the ups and downs of learning a new language. That’s why I’m passionate about making Korean learning both approachable and rewarding. My students often describe me as responsible, patient, and encouraging. I take time to listen, support your goals, and guide you step by step. Whether you want to improve everyday conversation or dive deeper into Korean culture, I’ll be here to help you with passion and dedication.

Perfect! Joe is very well-prepared for the class, and the entire lesson was truly beneficial. He already knows which pronunciations are difficult for foreigners and explains them clearly at our level. When I make mistakes or don’t understand something, he patiently goes over it again and again. These days, I also interested in Korean food, and when I asked him about it, he even shared some easy recipes. Thanks to him,I’m becoming more interested in Korea
