About Jaeyeon
I started living in Korea when I was 20, after spending most of my childhood and teenage years abroad. Even though Korean is my native language, I understand how difficult and intimidating it can feel to actually speak a language fluently and confidently.
Living in different countries has helped me improve my communication skills and understand what it feels like to learn, adapt, and express yourself in a different language and culture.
I’m also very familiar with both Korean and English-speaking culture, including current trends, social media, memes, everyday expressions, and popular topics. So if you enjoy casual conversations, I’d be happy to chat about anything from daily life and culture to internet trends and random funny topics while helping you speak more naturally.
I would love to be part of your Korean-learning journey and help you feel more comfortable speaking naturally, without being afraid of making mistakes!

I am fluent in both Korean and English, and I’m passionate about helping people improve their communication skills. Because I understand both languages and cultures well, I can explain not only grammar and vocabulary, but also the small differences in tone, nuance, and expressions that make Korean sound more natural.
I believe that speaking skills improve through confidence, interest, and actual conversation—not just by memorizing grammar rules. For this reason, my lessons will focus mainly on speaking with you in a relaxed and friendly way, almost like chatting with a Korean friend.
During the lesson, I won’t interrupt you every time you make a small mistake, because I want you to stay comfortable and keep the conversation flowing. Instead, I will take notes and give you feedback after the lesson, including corrections, more natural expressions, and useful vocabulary you can use next time.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, comfortable, and natural when speaking Korean. I hope I can be part of your journey and help you enjoy speaking Korean more!
