About Youngjun
I was born and raised in South Korea and moved to the United States at the age of 23 to pursue my studies. I earned my degree in Computer Science from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, where I lived for 15 years before relocating to Jacksonville, Florida, where I have been based for over 20 years.
Beyond my professional career in the computer industry, I have a diverse background in both the arts and leadership. I served as a church choir conductor for 7 years and as the conductor of a chamber orchestra at an arts high school for 2 years. I was also actively involved in a gospel band for approximately 10 years.
In addition, I have worked as a professional photographer for over 15 years and as a firearms instructor for 6 years. I also hold a 3rd-degree black belt in Taekwondo, reflecting my long-term commitment to discipline and personal development.
I am actively involved in the Korean community, serving as a secretary for the Miami chapter of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council and as the Public Relations Director of the Jacksonville Korean Association for 18 years.
On a personal note, I am a husband and a father of two daughters, and I value building meaningful connections with people from different backgrounds.
With my multicultural experience and strong communication skills, I aim to help students not only learn Korean, but truly understand and use it with confidence in real-life situations.

Details
My standard rate is $45 per hour.
For in-person lessons, an additional travel fee may apply depending on the location:
Orange Park: $35 travel fee (total $80/hour)
Other areas: $45 travel fee added to the base rate
Online lessons are available at the standard rate of $45 per hour, with no additional fees.
