About Sal
I’m a native Italian speaker and a professional actor with extensive training in diction and voice. My background allows me to teach not only vocabulary and expression, but also a clean, neutral Italian accent, free from regional inflexions, a rarity in Italy, where dialectal influences are very strong from North to South. I'd like to teach Italian to English students because I’ve lived in London for several years and I’ve developed a strong and lasting connection with the UK.
Sharing my language feels like a natural way to stay linked to a place that has shaped me both personally and professionally. As a trained actor, I’m perfectly suited to helping students master a clear, neutral Italian accent and understand how to interpret a text through correct punctuation, rhythm, and intonation. Teaching Italian allows me to combine my love for language, my artistic background, and my bond with the UK — and to help learners speak Italian with confidence and authenticity.

Conversation practice, reading aloud with pronunciation coaching,text writing from dictation and subsequent correction.
I do not teach grammar from scratch. For this reason, my lessons are ideal for learners who already have an A2 level or above and want to refine their fluency, expand their vocabulary, and achieve a more natural, confident way of speaking.
All lessons are online, friendly, personalised, and focused on real improvement.
