About Francesca
My name is Francesca and I am a native Italian speaker who has been teaching languages (Italian as a second language and English) for more than six years in one-to-one classes as well as in the classroom. So far I have taught in eight different countries (Italy, Australia, Germany, Macedonia, England, Slovakia and Spain). Working and living abroad has helped me develop a special awareness towards other cultures. It has also helped me understand even better the difficulties that students usually have in learning a foreign language. I am a language student myself: English is my favorite language and I started studying it when I was six years old. When I lived in Russia and Macedonia, I tried to learn the language while immersed in their culture. Now that I live in San Sebastian I am studying Spanish.

My lessons are based on the communicative method. I like to adapt them to the needs of my students. I use textbooks, books to be read in the original language, videos, audio tracks, songs and different resources to make the course more interesting, fun and useful.
