About Alessandra

I am a native professional teacher with a big love for unconventional teaching and living. I have a degree to teach Italian (DITALS), a law degree and I worked as a language teacher and in the social field. I am passionate about the world and sharing knowledge with other human beings. I have taught in many countries and I will lead you to speak real Italian, getting to know my interesting culture! I am a contact improvisation dancer and a traveler. I lived in Germany, Brazil, France, New York and Ghana and I come from a small town in Italy called Udine. I love to share my culture and make it fun for my students to become fluent in Italian!

About the lesson

My method is interactive and flexible. I put together my studies, my passions, my students' desires and what I learned by multiple years of experience that is effective in learning Italian. We learn by doing, can have focused classes and more spontaneous culture-based ones. I use recipes (we cook together), songs, focus-oriented magazines, sports and much more. I teach in a friendly, relaxed environment and I like to tailor the class to my students' needs so we develop the journey together! I almost forgot: you get true Italian coffee during our class if we do it at my place :)

Perfect! Alessandra is an excellent teacher. She has the capacity to explain even the most complicated point of grammar or subtle shade of meaning with simple clarity. She is also warm, encouraging and just a pleasure to take lessons with - the time flies by. Cannot recommend her highly enough. My Italian has unproved markedly in a short time. Veramente ottima.

Perfect! Alessandra is an excellent teacher. She has the capacity to explain even the most complicated point of grammar or subtle shade of meaning with simple clarity. She is also warm, encouraging and just a pleasure to take lessons with - the time flies by. Cannot recommend her highly enough. My Italian has unproved markedly in a short time. Veramente ottima.

Perfect! There is nothing better than an italian lesson with Allie! In short time I made a quick progress, to speak & understand the italian language with confidence! Allie is an italian with a big warm heart and I could always feel in our italian lessons that she loves what she is doing, teaching me her native language with all her passion and also give me some insights of her culture which she is really proud of! She is always patient with me, really adaptable to my needs and we often have a laugh together. Highly recommend to you if you want to have the full italian experience with a native speaking!
