About Laura
I am a native Italian speaker originally from Italy and currently based in London. I have an international academic and professional background, including a PhD from the University of Greenwich.
Having lived abroad for several years, I understand both the challenges and the enjoyment of learning and communicating in another language. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping others discover Italian in a relaxed and approachable way.
I am friendly, patient and adaptable, and I want my students to feel comfortable speaking Italian from the beginning, without being afraid of making mistakes.

My Italian lessons are friendly, practical and personalised around your goals and level. As a native Italian speaker, I can help you develop both accurate Italian and the natural expressions used in everyday conversation.
I combine conversation with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, using real-life situations to make learning more engaging and useful. Lessons can also be adapted if you are learning Italian for travel, work, study or simply for personal interest.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners of different ages. Most importantly, I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes and gradually becoming more confident in Italian.
