About Stefano
I am a PhD candidate in Archaeology at The University of Edinburgh, awaiting my final examination. However, I was born and raised in Italy (Umbria, to be precise), before moving to Scotland in 2017. Throughout my studies and other work experiences, I have developed an extensive knowledge of the Italian language, its literature, developement and history. Among my skills, I particularly excel in translations from ancient Italian sources, which makes me an ideal tutor for academic students in Italian Literature, History and related fields.

1:1 Italian lessons for high school and university students or adults. Lessons are customised based on the specific target / previous language skills of the student and are usually 1 hour long (extendable to 2 when required). They can be at home in person or online. My teaching techniques are based on written exercises, conversations and listening, tailored according to students' specific needs. I have been a tutor/trainer for The University of Edinburgh for the last three years.
