I have had adult education credentials in Spanish and other disciplines and have training in teaching Spanish to adults, have former tutoring experience to college students and high school students, have been an AVID tutor and community college tutor and teacher's assistant. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and have earned a certificate in Spanish into English translation from NewYork University and have held in the past a business in translation and currently have a side business as a translator. I am currently a member of the American Translators Association in Spanish and French into English. Having learned Spanish as a foreign language, I have tools for non-native speakers yet can also support those whose parents speak Spanish and desire to improve their formal written and academic Spanish.
