About James

My name is James, and I'm a qualified and very experienced native teacher from Ireland. I have been teaching English for almost 20 years from schools in Ireland, Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Poland, as well as online. In my free time, I write, take photos, play and listen to music, enjoy films, go cycling and hiking. I have a wide range of interests, and I am happy to discuss all kinds of topics. I am a curious, patient, and calm person. Also, I'm from Ireland, but I am easy to understand :)

About the lesson

My lessons are conversation-based, and I provide all the materials. I cover a wide range of topics in my lessons. I like to use real source materials such as articles, as well as in-lesson vocabulary activities. For those who have the time, I provide homework, which is usually focused on helping my students understand how the language works.
