About Ruby

Native English teacher with extensive experience in teaching as a second language. Having grown up in a multi-cultural family where almost 5 different languages were spoken, I developed a great interest and love for languages. Especially being the daughter of an English father and a Dutch mother, I have come to know many cultural environments that have led me to the teaching of English as a second language. I have studied many different courses, among them my favorite being Literary Translation, as it has made me grow even more in the world of teaching. I love what I do and would love to be able to share my passion with you by seeing your progress and enthusiasm for it!

About the lesson

Learn English using one of the most effective and dynamic methods that will not allow you to get bored in class. Currently I work in an English teaching academy using one of the most effective methods, being highly repetitive, correcting every pronunciation error and emphasizing oral agility through highly dynamic and interactive classes. I work, and I work hard in class using this method that emphasizes the use of the language to give fluency instead of focusing on pure theory, which shows that the best way to learn a language and a grammar structure is to repeat it over and over again until it is automated. The classes will be shaped to the needs of the student, helping them both in the professional and personal areas, I help to prepare meetings, interviews or simply the weekly tasks that are needed at the moment. My classes: -It will include activities divided into blocks in order to model a most dynamic class. -I will teach you both formal and colloquial English with expressions and set phrases that are used every day in the language. -In the first class I will evaluate your level to be able to mold each class to your needs thus focusing on your good points and improving your weak points. -I will encourage work outside of class so you can practice without making it look like you're doing homework. I have taught people of all age levels and professions.

Gran profesora. Un 10.
