About Nomi
As an Artist and foreign language learner I know what it’s like to work hard and keep pushing through blocks to get better at something you’re passionate about and need in your life. Not everyone learns the same way so I pride myself in being able to work with children and adults and my ability to create an atmosphere that works best for how they learn. Because I have worked with people from different backgrounds and in a variety of settings (schools, homes, etc) I am able to bring peace of mind to my students when they are learning something new or difficult to them. I encourage my students to relax and enjoy the learning process when working together.

I will meet you where you are at and together we will set the foundation for reaching your goals; whether it be focusing on phonics to sound more like a native speaker, practicing small talk so it’s easier to get to know someone new or you need an extra set of eyes to go over a paper you’ve written that you want to make sure sounds as natural as possible. We will set goals together and I will help hold you accountable so that you hit those goals and are able to create new ones so you are always moving forward to improve your English. The approach is relaxed so that learning stays fun, interesting and as stress free as possible. My expertise lies in having worked with children for over 20 years. I have also worked with adults who are learning English as a second language and attending college/university and graduate programs in the US. My lessons are for everyone, but I specialize in working with children 3 to 11 years old.
