About Amy
Hello! My name is Amy, and I am from the United States, from the state of Texas. I have traveled and lived in different countries and states for the past 12 years off and on. I am currently living in Colombia for the 5th time and learning to adapt to a new city. I am passionate about helping people, I love to read, write, exercise, travel, explore, have adventures, try new things and cook. I believe life is a gift, and one meant to be shared and lived with joy.
I provide conversation classes so you can improve your English with a native speaker. Whether you are wanting to work on your pronunciation or just have someone to practice with, the conversation classes will help you to grow in confidence that you can speak English and improve each time you practice. :)
I also focus on reading, writing and listening skills during my classes, so each of my students receives a full learning experience. During my classes, I will ask many questions and answer the questions you may have. After each class, I will assess what you are needing to work on and also receive your feedback on what you want to improve. Each class will be focused on you personally with your goals in mind.
I understand what it is like to learn a new language and how challenging it came be. I enjoy helping my students reach their goals and realize that they can do more than they think they can. I incorporate conversation, listen, speaking, reading and writing into each class and also individualize classes based on what each students goals and needs are. My classes are for adults who already have a basic understanding and knowledge of the English language.
