About Soniqua

A little about me.

My name is Soniqua or Nika for short. I have a higher certificate for teaching adults, however, I would love to realize my dream one day of finishing my degree and becoming a "real" teacher.
My inspiration came from my English teacher who sadly passed away due to Covid in 2020. She inspired me to be the best I can be in class and at home.

I would love to be that inspiration to future students in making them feel that they have somebody that knows their troubles and focusing on what needs to be improved on. I have a lot of patience and would be there for you and with you find what your strengths and weaknesses are.

About the lesson

Imagine somebody listening to your needs as a student and then focusing on the stress areas by helping you understand the context and further meaning of a word. I am a very caring teacher that would go the extra mile to ensure you understand what you are reading.
Stressed about final exams? Let me help you be as prepared as you never though possible.
I will ensure that you understand the finer details and teach you how to overcome your fears. I am a native English and Afrikaans individual that can translate if you are struggling with pronunciation or understanding the words in front of you.
