About Salomé

I am an incredibly friendly and open minded person, and having been born and raised in Latin America, I can't help but become friends with everyone! I am committed to helping you learn Spanish, and have tons of recommendations, tips, and lessons through which you will be able to perfect your Spanish. My international experience will also help me teach you the differences between the Spanish language around the world. For example, did you know that the same word can have different meanings in Spain and Colombia? Or Venezuela and Ecuador? My tutoring will also serve as an introductory guide to the many cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. You will see results because I have had experience teaching languages. In the past, I have tutored underprivileged elementary-aged children, and this taught me how I can most effectively teach people of all ages. I am adaptable and responsible, and I cannot wait to be your tutor!

About the lesson

Using a personalized approach, I will determine your level of Spanish knowledge in order to design our plan of action. From my lessons, you will learn how to read, write and speak in Spanish from a native speaker with experience in teaching languages in the past. I will also ask you why you want to learn Spanish, as this will determine the intensity of the sessions, as well as my approach and the learning tools we will use. For example, if you need a Spanish tutor to improve your grade in a class, my approach will be different from that if you want to learn Spanish for an upcoming trip to Latin America, or due to sole passion. My classes are for anyone who wishes to learn Spanish, of any age and level. Being a native Spanish speaker allows me to adjust our lessons as we go, and adapt to you!
