About Joy

Hello! I’m Joy. I’m a native Chinese speaker. I'm from Taiwan and I'm living in the U.S. now. I can speak both Chinese and English fluently. I have a Master's degree in early childhood education and I have been teaching young kids for 6 years. I had been teaching in a Chinese immersion school in the U.S. for 2 years. I had learned lots of strategies to create a rich and joyful learning environment for students to explore Chinese. I'm friendly, responsible, hard-working, and open-minded. I love hearing students' feedback and adjusting my classes. I will create relaxing and meaningful classes for you!

About the lesson

Teaching is my passion. I would love to teach both adults and kids. As a second language learner, I know learning a new language is a challenge. I would love to discuss with you about your goal, interest, and the learning style you prefer. I will do my best to create personalized classes for you. I’m looking forward to meeting you and accompanying you on this Mandarin learning journey.
