I’m Sandra, a native Castilian Spanish speaker with a passion for sharing the beauty of the Spanish language and culture. Originally from the Basque Country, I’ve lived and traveled across Spain and Europe before making San Francisco my home. I specialize in creating personalized lessons designed to help you feel confident and motivated to speak Spanish fluently. I’ve had the joy of teaching Spanish to children through play-based lessons, incorporating music, dance, and kinesthetic learning to make language learning both fun and engaging. Whether in-person or virtual, my approach ensures that lessons are not only educational but also enjoyable and memorable. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, but I’m here to guide you every step of the way. As a native Spaniard, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and immersive environment that encourages learning at any level. Whether you're a beginner looking to understand the basics or an advanced learner aiming to perfect your fluency, I tailor my lessons to fit your unique needs and learning style.

Teaching Method & Techniques:
I use a communicative approach, which means that speaking and listening practice are central to every lesson. You'll be speaking Spanish from the very first session! My techniques include:

1. Real-life conversations to build confidence.
2. Interactive grammar exercises with practical usage.
3. Cultural insights to give context and make learning more relevant.
4. Vocabulary-building activities focused on your personal interests and goals.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson starts with a brief review of what we've covered so far, followed by an introduction to new vocabulary, grammar points, or cultural aspects. We’ll focus on:

- Speaking practice (role-playing, discussions, or situational dialogues).
- Grammar and sentence structure, explained clearly and with examples.
- Homework or extra exercises tailored to reinforce what we've covered.
