About Donia

Hello! My name is Donia and I am from Cairo, Egypt. I began my teaching journey by teaching English to primary students in Egypt. I then pursued a diploma for teaching young learners. During this time, I worked in educational centers, tutored groups, provided one-on-one sessions, and served as a teacher assistant. After moving back to New Zealand, I obtained another diploma for teaching primary students. As a native Arabic speaker with over 3 years of teaching experience, I am dedicated to helping beginners learn and appreciate this beautiful language. Whether you are a child or an adult, I am here to guide you every step of the way!

About the lesson

My teaching approach will be tailored to the individual needs of each student. I focus on building a strong foundation in the Arabic language by starting with the alphabet and its sounds. I use a variety of engaging methods, including visual aids, interactive activities, and practical exercises to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the language.
Each lesson would be one hour long, providing sufficient time to cover new material, practice, and review previous lessons.
My lessons are suitable for beginners of all ages. I am a qualified teacher with 3+ years of experience teaching children from the age of 6 to 14, but I am also enthusiastic about teaching adults who are new to Arabic. I haven't taught Arabic language for long but because I am a native Arabic speaker and have a strong passion for the language. My extensive teaching background equips me with the skills to effectively instruct and support beginners in learning Arabic.
