About Lucia

Hello my name is Lucia! I am a native Italian speaker and graduated in Art History in London. I love teaching languages and seeing the improvements in my students very quickly! I have a few experiences in teaching Italian ranging from absolute beginners to pre-intermediate. I am currently training privately to improve my skills, for this reason I applied to this platform to get more experience. I always plan my lessons, give feedback and homework! With regard to practical experience, one particular example is when I helped an English man reach a more fluent level in Italian, so that he could talk and write emails in a professional manner. Thanks to exercises, study and homework, after 6 months he managed to be successful in an internal position within his company and upgrade his career! I look forward to our first lesson together! I'm quite spontaneous, and one Sunday I decided I wanted to learn Italian... At least to be able to have a basic conversation with someone for the first part.
Lucia was FANTASTIC. She really helped me, and improved my confidence of speaking another language, not to mention taught me how to actually speak in Italian! I was always embarrassed to speak with another accent - to pronounce words differently - but not anymore.
