About Jemma

I have 2 years of teaching experience as I was an English tutor for 2 years to a girl who was attending Cape Town’s premier girls school. I also have 1 year of experience teaching English to very young children (age 3-6) as I was a volunteer at one of Cape Town’s orphanages. I graduated from Herschel Girls high school which is one of the top private girls schools in the country. I studied my Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Cape Town which is the top university in Africa.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is that all students are unique and therefore have different styles and needs when it comes to learning, and so I aim to create a safe environment that allows learners to reach their full potential.
