About Makenzie
I have been playing the flute for nine years of my life. I have gained many awards in high school for my performances as well as study the instrument at the University of Oklahoma. I have been in the OU Symphony band as well as honor bands in my high school years. Through these years, I have helped younger flute players prepare for honor band auditions.

Before ever beginning to teach the instrument, I will assess where the student stands in their ability. I will take into account upcoming performances or auditions the student may have before finding a lesson plan for them. If they are simply looking to advance in the instrument, I will help them learn the ins and outs of the flute and its tone.
