About Heidi

I am a Music Management student at the University of Leeds, with a focus on live music events and performance. I regularly perform in gigs and I am always involved in university life and processes. At Leeds, I am the employability sub-group leader for the Music Department, which means I work very closely with university staff and have a secure knowledge of how university works. I have experience in both postgraduate and undergraduate degree applications, as well as interview preparations. I am proud to say I have a learning difference so I understand that those who have differences sometimes need a little help and reassurance from those who also struggle. I am a trained classical singer and viola player, as well as having a passion for event management. I spend my time organising community-music projects, as well as working on performance studies. In my free time, I love to travel and play sports, especially hockey. My personality is bubbly, creative and professional. I am an extremely hard worker, with the desire to overcome any challenge. I look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

My lessons will push you to achieve your goals, and also create lasting life habits which will change the way you think. My lessons will be professional, collaborative and tailored to each individual student. As each lesson is tailored to each individual, it would depend on what the students wants. That being said, a typical lesson would be between 30 minutes and 1 hour. I have 2 years of being a tutor, both in the UK and abroad. My lessons are always fun, but help the individual student develop. I am working towards a masters in Music Management at the University of Leeds, so I have a thorough understanding of all aspects of university life, as well as coping with moving to a new city, moving to a new country alone and managing your time management to ensure you achieve your goals. My sessions are for those in university and below who need help and advice in managing problems that young people face.
