A Journey Through Music and Teaching

Hello, future accordionists!

My name is Mario, and my story is one of discovery, passion, and the courage to follow my heart. Music has been my constant companion since I was 9 years old, shaping my identity and providing the soundtrack to my life.

I began my professional journey as a mechanical engineer ️, a career rooted in logic, precision, and creativity. For years, I thrived in the world of design and problem-solving, but something was missing—a sense of connection and the joy of sharing knowledge. So, I made a life-changing decision to transition into teaching.

Now, I am a high school Technology teacher , inspiring young minds to embrace innovation and creativity. But my love for music has never waned, and I’m fortunate to teach private accordion lessons, sharing the magic of this extraordinary instrument.

In 2016, I earned a Professional Degree in Accordion Performance , solidifying my commitment to the craft. I’ve also been privileged to learn from the esteemed Professor Alexey Artemyev in an intensive masterclass and to be mentored by the incredible Javier López Jaso ((concealed information) whose wisdom and artistry have left an indelible mark on my journey.

My engineering background brings a unique perspective to my teaching. I believe in breaking down complex ideas into approachable steps—whether it’s navigating a challenging piece of music or understanding how an accordion works. I approach lessons with equal parts structure and heart, ensuring each student feels empowered and inspired.

What sets my lessons apart is the genuine passion I bring to every session. Learning the accordion is more than mastering notes; it’s about finding joy, telling stories, and expressing your soul. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned player seeking refinement, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
