About Ruby
I am a 1st class honours graduate after also completing a year at a conservatoire course before moving to a university to specialise in both classical singing/ opera and composition. I have taken musicianship, musicology, arranging, orchestration and teaching modules, leading choirs and vocal groups as well as volunteering at a local children’s choir. I also have Grade VIII Violin, Grade VI Piano, so have experience with the grade theory and aural exercises. I aim to bring my music theory skills, musicianship, music analyses, knowledge of music history, listening and sight reading skills to help other gain confidence with their musicianship.

Following the ABRSM theory grades, I will incorporate a range of listening, reading music, call and response/ clapping rhythmic exercises and singing exercises. I aim to find the best, most effective and engaging ways to help you gain understanding and work through the music theory exercises together, improving your confidence and musicianship skills!
