About Maria
I am currently a postgraduate student at the RNCM, but gave masterclasses and taught throughout my undergraduate degree at Oxford, and even before university. For me, teaching others and exploring what they want to learn, or working out new ways to look at things, is part of the joy of music.

I have had experience teaching and tutoring music to students of all ages and abilities, and take pride in making lesson plans that suit each individual. I am always happy to take a different approach and explain something in a way that makes sense to each student, rather than a "one-size-fits-all" method. I enjoy students asking questions and pursuing what they are particularly interested in, rather than generalising.
