About Josette
I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree in music education. I worked with many students in middle school and high school learning about the flute. I also have field experience in elementary music, choir, and band classes. I have knowledge in music theory, how to play wind, string, and percussion instruments, and music history.

I am a music education student whose primary instrument is the flute and piccolo. I approach each topic based on the needs of my student(s). I like to use many approaches of learning and try different ways of explaining ideas, so that it is easier for students to learn and remember the content. I always like to check in with the students to make sure they are understanding and for any questions they have related to the topic. My main goal is to make sure that my students are learning and comprehending the information while also having a great learning experience.
