About Leah

My name is Leah and I'm a current Freshman at the Crane School of Music! I'm double majoring in Music Education (trombone track) and Special Education.

I have extensive experience with one-on-one lessons, lesson groups, conducting, and teaching various subjects. I've been playing my instrument for nearly eleven years and I've performed at the All Eastern Band Conference and All County. As well as many other ensembles.

I love the trombone and teaching, and hope that it can make a difference in the lives of my students the same way it did with me.

About the lesson

My lessons (30-45 minutes) are a way for younger or beginner students just getting into their instrument to improve.

I focus on combating performance anxiety and creating a dynamic with the trombone that results in minimal stress while still creating results!

For me individuality is an incredibly important part of teaching and music. I work to meet each student's individual needs and wants, rather than following the same curriculum for each student.
