Orton Gillingham reading instruction. All lessons are diagnostic and prescriptive, based on the student’s mastery of presented concepts. Concepts taught include- Phonemic awareness Phonological awareness Morphology Phonology Word building Fluency at the word, phrase, and sentence levels Oral reading Encoding at the sound, word, and sentence levels Oral Lessons are 60 minutes in length and are offered on non-consecutive days.
