About Ai
Hi, I'm Ai (Ivy), a multilingual tutor with two years of tutoring experience. As an IB graduate, I speak English, Chinese, Mongolian, Japanese, and French, allowing me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
Currently, I'm pursuing a double degree in Business Administration and Psychology. I specialize in English, Business, Psychology, Writing, Reading, and IB subjects. In addition to my academic background, I have a strong passion for public speaking, having participated in multiple national debate competitions and Model United Nations conferences. My goal is to provide personalized tutoring that helps students excel academically while building confidence in their abilities.

I have two years of tutoring experiences, from which I've learned to tailor lessons to the specific needs and learning style of the student. It involves getting to know the student's strengths and weaknesses, and using that knowledge to create a customized learning plan. I practice an interactive learning approach which emphasizes active participation and engagement from the students. We also use the "Scaffolded Instructions" which is where we break down complex concepts in to smaller and more manageable parts, which guides the students more clearly.
The typical lengths of my tutoring lessons can vary, but they often range from 1-2 hours.
