About Jessica
I’m a three-time award-winning director, a current second-year drama student at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and currently Head of Drama at Hackney Empire's Artist Development Programme.
Bringing together practical directing experience and ongoing actor training, my background allows me to explore performance from both sides of the room: understanding what makes a performance compelling to watch, while developing the techniques that help actors bring their work to life.
My lessons are tailored to you and what you want to achieve. We can work on script analysis, character development, objectives and subtext, Meisner technique, improvisation, scene study, monologue preparation, and audition technique. I can also help with drama school applications and auditions, including choosing material, preparing speeches, developing confidence, and approaching self-tapes and callbacks.
Whether you’re aiming for drama school, preparing for a production, or simply looking to build your confidence and explore acting, our sessions will be practical, collaborative, and focused on your individual development. We’ll break things down, experiment with different approaches, and build a toolkit you can take into any rehearsal room or audition.

Acting is about truth, not pretending.
My approach to acting is built around curiosity, honesty, and taking creative risks in a supportive environment. I want to help you move beyond simply performing a character and towards genuinely understanding them, making bold choices, and finding the confidence to trust your instincts.
Every actor is different, so I tailor my sessions to your individual needs, strengths, and goals. Whether you’re just starting out, developing your technique, or preparing for a big audition, we’ll work together to find an approach that brings out the most authentic and compelling version of your performance.
My aim is to give you practical tools, constructive feedback, and the confidence to take risks, make mistakes, and grow as an actor — all while enjoying the process.
