About Tashmeen
Having been through a robust education system, I acknowledge the transfer from college to university can be a big jump and one some students are not prepared for. Information overload alongside a change to hyper-independent working can be more difficult for some. I understand some students need extra time to understand tasks and deconstruct the resources provided to them. I want to help students break down information by showing them a process. Previously, I was a part-time tutor for 6 years during my time at university, something I enjoyed but was also successful in. Overall, I want to build confidence in my students to be able to produce work they can own and are proud of. Improving writing skills is a life skill that will only better your communication as you progress into the workplace.

Experienced tutor with 6 years' experience. Lessons will be structured by discussing what areas the student needs help with. If it is essay-based, we can go through research and literature required for the essay, discuss ideas and draft a plan. Other sessions can also include me proofreading work, making sure it is structured in the best way. If sessions are for CV writing and job applications, we will discuss the jobs you are targeting and key skills required for the job. I will help best structure your applications. I have experience in applying for the most competitive internships and graduate schemes and therefore will be able to help you convey your skills and personality in a compelling way that employers desire. Lessons will vary from 30 minutes - 1 hour. Lessons are aimed at students from GCSE - University level.

Perfect! Tashmeen is a great tutor, she was very organized and explained everything that I needed during every session we had. With her help I was able to create a great CV and a cover letter that got me an internship in a real estate company. She was also very helpful regarding any questions within the real estate industry and was able to provide me guidance throughout my journey of applying for an internship.

I have known Tashmeen for many years now and throughout our time at university she was really good at explaining and breaking everything down. She also helped with essay writing and exploring techniques that would help with revision.
