About Julia
I hold a BSc in Biology from the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck and graduated 2019 with a MSc in Environmental Protection and Management from the University of Edinburgh. Motivated by my deep passion for learning and the environment I continued on with my studies at the University of Life Sciences in Vienna with a MSc in Natural Resource Management and working with the GIZ in Germany and India on biodiversity related topics in two internships.
Since 2019 I have been teaching Biology and related subjects online to students from all ages and levels from all over the world. I very much enjoy helping them achieve their academic goals and transmitting my passion for Biology and the environment. Be it exam preparation or assignments that are giving you trouble, I look forward to helping you!

I pride myself on tailoring my lessons to the individual needs of my students, creating a comfortable space for questions of any kind and on focusing first and foremost on ensuring that the scientific principles are truly understood. In our first lesson we will assess what your current level is and set goals together on which the lesson plan will be based.
My lessons are very interactive and I make sure to find an approach that suits you. Generally, I will teach via Zoom or Skype and use Google Docs as a white board where all the relevant information is collected and that the student can always come back to. Since 2019 I have been teaching students of all levels from primary school to university, helping with preparations for entry exams, improving scientific writing and general test preparation or homework.
