About Lara Rubbia
I am a clinical scientist in training, I have worked in the NHS as a microbiologist for many years but have a passion for teaching and passing on knowledge in my spare time. As a child, I had a tutor that acknowledged that I study a little bit differently to others, and their help and adaptability allowed me to see the world differently, and I want to be able to give back!

I believe we are not limited in learning, but we are limited in how we learn. As a late ADHD diagnosis individual (late 20s), I found it very important to find what works for my brain. Therefore, my tutoring style and lessons are tailored to the individual and how you learn. And if you haven't figured that out, that’s okay, I will work with you with a variety of study tools and see which ones fit best. Together we can find what works for you to allow your brain to soak up all there is to know about biology. After all, it is the building blocks of life!
