About Maham
I am a MSc Clinical Neuroscience Student and a first class honours graduate in Biomedical science. I have obtained A*-C in chemistry, biology, physics and psychology A-levels. And 11A*-C in GCSEs. I have been tutoring for almost 2 years online and from my house. The students I have tutored have achieved A*s- Bs in their GCSEs and A-levels from Cs and Ds which is a huge improvement. I am a competent and dedicated individual for this role as a tutor, my aim is to provide help and guidance for students in GCSEs and A-levels especially as that is the most difficult national exam these students face in their lives.

I believe personalised learning is the most effective method of teaching by allowing students to be able to discuss what ways they find easy to learn as I believe everyone is different hence they learn in different ways. I have a question and answer session towards the end of my lessons to allow the students to ask anything we might have missed, or they’re unsure of. There is usually a small task to complete in between my tutoring sessions to keep track of the progress of students. My tutoring lessons allow the students to explore areas they would like to focus on, revision techniques, and map out a plan to overcome the areas they struggle with the most. Offering self-paced and self-directed learning to cater to individual learning abilities, which also encourages students to feel comfortable asking questions and allowing students to realise their own personal growth.
