About Agnes

I'm a student, who loves learning something new each day and enjoys translating that information to others. I love to take complex, intricate concepts and turn them into simple flow charts to help with my learning as well as my students'. I have taught and assisted many people with their studies, mostly for GCSE and A-Levels and a few through university.

About the lesson

I put students first and listen to what they want for my lessons. They can tell me the topics they find most difficult and would like to tackle, whilst also addressing topics that I think also needs more work. I prepare for many hours for each lesson to ensure that I am confident and know all the details before teaching. Each lessons will include and overview, a summary of the key concepts, with more detail added throughout and test questions to assess what has been learnt. More complex concepts will be harder to learn hence I will try to turn it into a game or challenge so it's more engaging for the students. I ultimately believe that you really have learnt a topic once you're able to teach someone else, which is an idea that will be incorporated into my classes to ensure my students know everything they need to know. As a teacher, I am very relaxed and create a comfortable environment where no one feels judged for asking a "silly" question. You learn through asking questions; every question is valid and a teaching moment.
