About Megan
My background in zoology has always led me into public-facing jobs. My previous employment history even includes working at a zoo, where I would fly birds in displays and give educational talks. This, alongside my lecturing at university, has instilled a love of education in me. I thrive on helping people reach their full potential and live for those moments when my students fully grasp a concept, or cannot wait to tell me about their latest test score. I also really enjoy helping students discover career paths that they otherwise had no knowledge of.

I typically teach 1 hour lessons, I find on a one to one basis we can cover an awful lot in this time. I find questioning is the best method to really stretch and apply understanding to new situations.
All first sessions start with an assessment of current knowledge, to identify gaps and areas to focus on.
My background is in Zoo Biology, I have lectured at university level, and currently am doing my teacher training to teach Science at secondary level. I have a good understanding of lesson structure and how to stretch my students to achieve their best.
