About Cressida
Over my years of tutoring, I've found that a student who is fully engaged and enjoying a lesson learns the most. My goal is to make learning a fun and effective experience by tailoring lessons to a student's individual interests. It is important to me that a young person develops a love of learning. I believe in empowering students and creating a supportive environment where they can give honest feedback about what is and isn't working for them. Not all students thrive in a traditional school environment, whether they are gifted, have ADHD, or other special requirements. With the right support, every student can be successful. My commitment is to ensure you feel comfortable enough to enjoy learning and progress at your own pace.

I believe each child is unique in their learning style and interests and I have always placed their needs as central to the learning process. This means taking the child where they are and looking for progress rather than perfection. It means prioritizing engagement and interests to develop a love of learning. I am therefore very flexible in my approach. I have a BA(Hons) in English and an MSc in Computing and Information Systems. I have been tutoring for ten years over a range of ages and subjects.
