About Sandip
I am a Physics and Astrophysics graduate, as well as currently studying Systems Engineer at Loughborough University and working as a Systems Engineer, where I regularly use mathematics, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. I have nine years of tutoring experience and have previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Abingdon School and Oxford Summer School, supporting students in both physics and mathematics.
I want to teach because I believe students learn best when they properly understand a topic rather than simply memorising formulae or methods. I enjoy breaking difficult ideas into smaller, manageable steps and explaining the reasoning behind them using clear examples, diagrams and real-world applications.
My aim is to create a calm, supportive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence. I adapt my teaching to each student’s level and needs, helping them strengthen weaker areas and gradually develop the skills needed to work more independently.

My approach is focused on helping students properly understand maths and physics rather than simply memorising formulae or methods. I break difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps and explain the reasoning behind each stage using clear examples, diagrams and real-world applications.
Lessons are normally one hour long, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and concentration. I adapt each lesson to the student’s current level, identify areas they are struggling with and work through questions at a comfortable pace before gradually increasing the difficulty.
I have a degree in Physics and Astrophysics and currently work as a Systems Engineer, where I regularly apply analytical thinking, mathematics, and problem-solving skills. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-level students, as well as younger learners who would like additional support or want to build their confidence in maths and physics.
I have 9 years of tutoring experience and previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Abingdon School and Oxford Summer School, covering Physics and Mathematics and supporting students with their learning and academic development.
