About Marianna
I am a 32-year-old lady from Rome, moved to UK in 2016. I graduated in Italian and in theatre. I love to learn new languages and cultures and understand the joy and the importance of being able to communicate with others in another tongue! I feel with you the excitement of starting a new learning process! We will share conversation and thoughts! Will be curious and learn together, deepening into etymology and philology. We will have fun with pronunciation exercises that are informed by theatre practices. I will introduce poems, texts and songs to allow you to discover the beauty of the Italian language! This learning process must be rich in information and interesting, challenging, but still fun!

We'll focus on: Writing and spelling. Reading and pronunciation. Grammar. Periodisation of the sentences and syntax: how to build simple and complex phrases. (I am with you, no worries!) Speaking and Communication: We'll practise how to patronise and use the most essential, everyday words and sentences and common sayings. How to deliver a spontaneous and friendly conversation; as well as how to relate in a formal communication. For Children: use of puppetry, storytelling, songs and sounds, cartoons and images; for Adults: use of poems, books, pieces of articles and movies. Theatre games applied to have fun and learn quickly!
