About Abir
I’m a native of Marrakech, the Red City, and grew up near the traditional souks, where the spices, colours, and stories of Moroccan cuisine surrounded me from a young age. I learned to cook from my grandmother, renowned for her delicious dishes, and her love of food inspired me to share Moroccan culture with the world. I’m passionate about creating simple, easy-to-follow recipes that bring authentic Moroccan flavours to your kitchen without taking all day — so you can enjoy cooking and still have time for other things you love. Over the years, I’ve developed my own methods to make traditional dishes approachable, joyful, and full of flavour. Through my lessons, I love sharing not just recipes but the stories, spices, and techniques that make Moroccan cuisine so unique. Whether it’s tagines, couscous, or special festive dishes, I aim to make every cooking session hands-on, fun, and culturally enriching, helping you bring a piece of Morocco into your own home.
