About Nugroho
I am a teacher who likes discussion and problem solving. During teaching, I put more emphasis on understanding and higher order thinking skills.
For me learning should be fun because stress hormones can hinder the learning process (especially for analytical and synthetic skills).
I also believe that learning that stimulates more than one sense will support the learning process.
Lastly, I always encourage students to make something useful for other people and this country.

The teaching method is student centered learning, likes to use simulations, games, manga, and anime.
Always do project based learning with students at the school where they teach, mostly STEM (simple biotechnology).
The duration of the course is 1-2 hours per session.
I am a graduate of S2 Biology UI and have been teaching CIE AS/A Level since 2012.
The course is intended for SMA & SMP levels.

Perfect! Kak Nugroho mau meluangkan waktu untuk menjelaskan di awal kepada saya selaku orangtua murid tentang kurikulum dan metode belajar, sehingga saya bisa punya gambaran nanti anak saya akan belajar apa dan menggunakan metode yg bagaimana. Kak Nugroho juga sangat menguasai bidang ilmu yang dia ajarkan (biologi) dan cara mengajarnya kekinian.
- Vanka (murid) sangat bersemangat dan pengetahuannya cukup luas untuk anak seusianya, tapi kadang konsentrasi Vanka perlu ditingkatkan. Pelan-pelan saja.Nugroho's response :
